In 1967, Mark Raymer started his love affair with chocolate in Fond du Lac, WI, and that love affair is still going strong today in Doylestown, PA.
As an apprentice to his father-in-law, Raymer learned the art of candy making from recipes dating back to the late 1880's, using only the finest natural ingredients available, and a process based on the natural caramelization of fresh cream and sugar. These same recipes and techniques are used today resulting in candies described by many as "the best I've ever eaten".

Raymer's Homemade Candies, based in Doylestown, PA, is a family-run business owned by Mark and Sue Raymer and operated with lots of help from their entire family. Daughter, Lisa Kujath, runs the retail portion of the business while Raymer himself makes the candies with some help from his son Cory and son-in-law Kelly. All 6 grandchildren have helped in different ways as the whole family has a true love affair with chocolate.
